TYPES OF BAIL
- Personal Recognisance:Raise your hand and promice to return for court dates.
- Cash: The full amount has to be paid in cash before you are released.
- example $500 cash bail > You must pay $500 to be released.
- Surety:
Amount set by judge to insure future court apperances.
- Can be paid in two ways: 10% of Surety bail can be posted in cash or use a bondsman for a 5% fee.
- example: a $10,000 surety bail would be $1,000 cash or $500 Bail Bondsman Fee.
BAIL HEARING
- Distric Court Providence:
- Bail Hearings usually take place in Courtroom 4D in the Garahy Building.
- Superior Court Bail:
- Hearings take place on Benifit Street, 5th Floor, Court Room 9
SERVICES
- Transportation
- On occasion we provide transportation from the ACI to a clients home if needed.
BAIL FROM ACI
There is a $25 fee the ACI charges each person bailed from the Intake Center. COLLECT CALLS ACCEPTED!
Release Times from the ACI:
- Monday - Friday:
- 1:30pm
- 5:00pm
- 7:00pm
- 8:00pm
- Saturday and Sunday:
- 6:00pm
